Claire…. Need I Say More? She was a DREAM to photograph!
I really don’t know what to say about this Beauty so I will keep it short and sweet which is rare. She was a DREAM to photograph. I ADORE her mom. I ADORE her. I love that she is someone my daughter spends several hours a week with at dance and GREATLY looks up to. I am PROUD to know the human being that she is and KNOW she will only becoming more AMAZING, KIND, and INCREDIBLE as time goes on.
I have many favorites but truly LOVE this image of her.

Julia… A Quiet, Peaceful, Beautiful Soul
I really enjoyed getting the opportunity to work with Julia, her Mom and Grandmother. It was neat listening to her talk about where she came from and how she ended up here from California not all that long ago. Mostly though she had a quiet calming nature about her. You can take one look into Julia’s eyes and see an Old Soul among you. I loved photographing her and loved her amazing energy. I am quite certain she will do great things in her future. I am also so grateful that her mom teaches art and has an appreciation for it. She is the one that saw my work and chose us to document this special time in her daughter’s life.

- What a beautiful lady you are Julia. Adam, Teresa, and I just looked at your pictures. Like Tami said, I am a little sad to think of the wonderful times we shared years ago and the fact that we have missed so much since. I can remember your young face as I look at your mature pictures. Vacation is Over… Back to work!
I just got back in town after an incredible 11 day trip with my children to my home state of IOWA. We revisited old memories and made many new ones. I cannot wait to share a little with you all about my journey but for now I will just share two images from my I-PHONE of one of my favorite childhood places. This is Winterset Iowa home of the Bridges of Madison County. I SO loved these bridges when I was little. I love that they are still up and that regardless of the 115 heat index that day there were lots of cars pulling up to see them as well.
Now….off to blog images for clients as promised!
