This Old Truck… North Carolina Children’s Sessions

I LOVED THIS LOCATION. This truck looks like it has been here forever!

Here are some images from what is probably one of my favorite children’s sessions EVER.  I love this family.  I love these kids.  I have been photographing them for about 7 years.  Then, they moved away and finally got me down to North Carolina to photograph them and some other new clients.   I have a HUGE soft spot in my HEART for these kids.  I miss them already and cannot wait to get back there to spend more time with this amazing family.  They have some pretty great parents too who Keith and I just love.  We were getting eaten alive during this session with humidity near 100% and 98 degree temps.  These guys were troopers and the irritation of all of the bugs biting helped me to get exactly the shots I wanted.  Steph and Todd,  I look forward to getting back down there with my whole family very soon!

Once the other kids were in the car taking refuge from the bugs and the HEAT, I managed to talk Lauren into doing  a few more shots of just her since she has been photographed the least by me through the years.  She was completely against the idea until I told her that I would paint her toes as soon as we got back to the house.  A deal was a deal and we both stuck to our end of the bargain.  Love her and her pouty faces.  She is literally the female version of my Little Jackson.

Those kids have grown up so much. 4 perfect faces who have had my heart since day 1! I am so glad I was able to see these! No one does it like you! Great Job!September 9, 2009 - 5:58 pm

Nichol Krupp - Thanks again everyone. Kassie, you are too sweet. They are definitely growing up. That is for sure. I tried to get Steph and Todd to have another one but I really do think they are done. On a personal level it makes me sad. On a photographic level I am totally okay with it. Why? The more you add to the mix, the harder it is for me to photograph them. LOL! Thanks again!September 11, 2009 - 5:35 pm
