Here are some images from what is probably one of my favorite children’s sessions EVER. I love this family. I love these kids. I have been photographing them for about 7 years. Then, they moved away and finally got me down to North Carolina to photograph them and some other new clients. I have a HUGE soft spot in my HEART for these kids. I miss them already and cannot wait to get back there to spend more time with this amazing family. They have some pretty great parents too who Keith and I just love. We were getting eaten alive during this session with humidity near 100% and 98 degree temps. These guys were troopers and the irritation of all of the bugs biting helped me to get exactly the shots I wanted. Steph and Todd, I look forward to getting back down there with my whole family very soon!

Miss Lauren....I miss you! You are so stinkin' cute!

Once the other kids were in the car taking refuge from the bugs and the HEAT, I managed to talk Lauren into doing a few more shots of just her since she has been photographed the least by me through the years. She was completely against the idea until I told her that I would paint her toes as soon as we got back to the house. A deal was a deal and we both stuck to our end of the bargain. Love her and her pouty faces. She is literally the female version of my Little Jackson.

I look at it….sigh….and it makes me SMILE! For a few seconds I forget how busy I am and just BREATHE. I took this this in Vegas. Hopefully someday soon I will see the real Eiffel Tower. Now that would be a GOOD DAY!

As you can tell we get a lot more girl seniors than guys but our stretch of guys has finally arrived and is still coming. They just always wait much longer to schedule than the girls. LOL! Anyhow, here is another beautiful senior that Cassie recently photographed. I loved her razored hair, her hat, scarves and those hazel blue-green eyes.

I cannot decide whether I like this image better in bw or color!

Love her eyes!

I have SOOOOOO many that I absolutely LOVE from this session. For now, here are just a few. I will definitely be sharing many more when time allows. I LOVED working with Sidney and her mom. She brought the BEST and most UNIQUE clothes for me to choose from. She and her mom also were insistent that I just “do my thing” and go where I wanted to go. That always makes my job much more enjoyable and creative. Enjoy!

Seniors…Seniors…and more Seniors! NKP Studio is completely inundated right now with our High School Seniors and although we tend to get a lot of Newborns through our studio, this year is especially OUT OF THE NORM. We have newborns coming out of the woodwork.
Cassie is booking out into the end of September and I am booking into late October with a waiting list of people. We are so so blessed that you keep choosing us to create beautiful images for you and your family. If you are interested in booking a family session before Christmas we only have a few spots left for the year. If you are interested in still booking a Senior session with NKP Studio, please call soon to see if Cassie can get you in. We also have a special yearbook date scheduled for those who waited a bit long to call and are pushing the yearbook deadline requirement. We can schedule your 15 minute yearbook session on our August Yearbook Day and then get you in for your FULL session sometime in late September or October.
Here is a Beauty from the other day that I really enjoyed photographing.

She was such a QT in that cowgirl hat. Love it!

Here is a beautiful High School Senior that Cassie Photographed last week. Cass was so excited about this session and said it is one of her favorite sessions to date. She loved working with Emily and as you can see Emily is quite the beauty. Emily, thank you for being so fun to work with! It always make our job much more enjoyable. We are pretty lucky to be blessed with an awesome clientele. Enjoy your PEEK!

I recently traveled to North Carolina for sessions and had such an amazing time hanging out with these cuties for a few days. Meet Hannah and Caleb. They are your typical brother and sister who play, wrestle, and challenge one another. It was so funny having them cuddle up together in 98 degree heat and nearly 100 percent humidity as we all had sweat dripping down our entire bodies. Who would want to do that?
Nonetheless, they were complete troopers. Kudos to them because I do not think I would want to cuddle up with ANYONE when it is that hot. I loved meeting their mom too who was the epitome of a kind Southern woman and who has the most adorable accent you have EVER heard. It was a pleasure working with you all. I hope I get the opportunity to meet the latest additions to your family someday soon. I will keep you in my thoughts as you travel abroad and bring them home. Bless you and thanks for being a part of making my trip a great one.

Meet Miss “A”….
This was yet another great family I worked with yesterday. They are all beautiful and extremely {Photogenic}. Isn’t that right Mom. I love what we were able to capture of your family and although it tends to be difficult to pull off with young siblings, we were able to get several great family images for you to cherish. I loved working with Big Sister Madison as well. She LOVED the camera and as you can see…the camera LOVED her.
Thanks for being such a great family to work with.

It was a day full of smiles from both of my newborn baby girls. I love it!

Need I say more. If this little one is not PERFECT then I do not know what PERFECT is. I love this family. If you frequent the blog you have probably seen images from their maternity session. Now little Miss “G” is here. I had the pleasure of working with them yesterday again and loved it. So laid back, so relaxed and such a great couple. I had to get them a sneak peek right away as promised. I had two beautiful newborn sessions yesterday and really enjoyed a low key yet long day of quiet photograhy.
I hope you love them as much as I do.

That smile was priceless!

P.S. To my other new mom from yesterday. I will post some of your BEAUTIFUL images today as well. I promise!

This family has been coming to me for about 5 years now and I am blessed to have them as clients. We have also ended up becoming friends who have supported each other through losses and tough times. I love them all. I loved meeting their latest addition to the family. He was so good and quite a handsome little guy with an amazing head of hair that reminded me of my own children. Their older kids are incredibly well-mannered and that is just a testament to their amazing parents. Mom and Dad say this is it for them but they have been known to say that before (wink-wink). I say keep them coming. You make beautiful children and never look like you just had a baby. I {Heart} you all. Here is a large sneak peek as I cannot seem to decide which ones to show you.
XOXOXO!
~Niki

And the whole family together…

And just a funny one to finish up this post. I do not know why it is but I would say probably 9 out of 10 newborns do this to me at least once during their session. Too funny!
