It was so neat to look down in my garden the other day and see my first few pieces of produce ready to be picked and eaten. The photographer in me had to OF COURSE grab my camera and take a few shots of my PRIZE as documentation of our hard work.

I love the purple bell peppers. I don’t know where you shop but I can tell you that my $1.75 pepper plant was so worth it. At our local grocer it costs about 4.00 for just 3 bell peppers (1 yellow, 1 red & 1 orange). The tomatoes are super expensive too. My youngest two kids get so excited to wake up everyday and see what else is ready to be brought in. It has been a team effort, but my daughter, Addy, gets especially excited to go down each day in hopes of picking new things.
And OH how I LOVE a fresh tomato sandwich. It makes me miss my mom terribly as I remember how she and I would race down to the garden in the summer to see who could get the best tomatoes first. We always had a salt shaker in hand and we would sit there in the earth’s dirt and eat them right in the midst of the garden. It cracks me up how in today’s world we rush to wash everything and get the germs off. Then, legitimately there is a pesticide issue. I am so excited that even if only for the summer, I do not need all the produce cleaner, soap, water, etc. etc. I can just head to pesticide free Krupp Garden, brush off the dirt that they grew in, grab the salt shaker and my little girl and eat as many tomatoes as I want. Ahhhhh….life is good!
If you have not read “A REASONABLE LIFE” by Ferenc Mate’ , I strongly reccommend you go to Amazon.com and check it out. It is definitely an eye opener. More on that later……

This couple and their son were so fun and easy going to work with. With as many sessions as we have a year I am very blessed to have the opportunity to meet some pretty incredible people who end up becoming friends. I have known Dan for several years now and this is his stunning wife Sara. Dan is just an absolute HOOT anyway. He made me laugh the entire time and I am sure he gives her many laughs in a typical day. I really enjoyed getting to know them better as a family and the excitement for this new baby is quite evident, especially the already VERY proud Big Brother. I cannot wait to get my hands on the new baby when he/she finally arrives. SO EXCITING! Thank you for choosing me as your photographer and I will be waiting to hear about the new arrival.

Such a sweet couple!

As you can see, she is one FIT Mamma!

I had a blast during this session. These little Cuties were so fun to work with. Mr. man reminds me of my little Jackson and had the best expressions and things to say. Then his Big Sister was just such a sweet little soul who took a little bit to warm up to me, but we eventually got her to. I loved working with them and their mommy. I also have to give props to mom for really listening to our suggestions before the session. She brought such great attire from head to toe. She also really trusted us to do our job and stepped back when we needed her to letting us work with the kids and get the shots we needed. Then Cassie got some suckers which SAVED me….. at the candy shop. I love how it turned out and it was probably one of my most fun Children’s sessions in quite a while. We have tons but here are a few teasers to tide mom over.

Loved the SHOES!!!

She was so cute and trendy. I loved her attire. Great work, MOM!

Thank goodness for those Lollipops!!!

I absolutely love this!

This one in the studio just makes me smile!

Welcome to the new and improved NKP Studio Blog. It has been several months in the making. Now you see why I stay up so late working. Lots to do and not enough time in the day. I love, love, LOVE how it turned out. There are still some things to polish up and add but this is a great start. It is way more functional and will be so much easier for clients to navigate, comment, and view the images. It will also be way easier for me to respond to your comments and questions. Grab a cup of JAVA, sit BACK, and stay AWHILE.

Hello All,
I just wanted to post a few images from a great Senior Beach Session that Cass took the other day. She is Rockin’ out the High School Seniors this year. I know everyone has been super excited after working with her and are loving their overall experience with her. If you are looking to get into Cassie still this year she only has about 15 to 20 sessions left so call soon if you are wanting in. Beautiful work Cass!
