This session was for one of my Breast Cancer Survivors. I photographed Ann who was an amazing pillar of strength and survival. She allowed me the honor of photographing her breast reconstruction which continues to be an ongoing personal project for me. It is something that takes a sense of self and vulnerability that I am not sure many people are capable of. These women are amazing and like Ann, everyone’s goal is to raise awareness and let any woman that is going through this know that they CAN survive and LIVE ON.
In return I photographed her with her husband and her beautiful daughters. Dad was such a hoot. He just continually cracked me up. He says he is sending me one of his infamous Christmas letters that he wrties yearly and I just cannot wait and I can pretty much guess that I will be holding my stomach.

These two have a special place in my heart as our kids have literally grown up together. Ross and my son, Cameron, are only 10 weeks apart. Claire and my Addy are only 5 months apart. They are family to us and we adore both them and their parents.
Loved this session and how protective Ross was with Claire. Most 9 year old boys cringe when you ask them to cuddle their little sister but not him. He was all for it and so cool with her.

Little Miss “R”

I just adored her big beautiful eyes and her little expressions. Her mom runs a dance studio here in town. Love the clothing choices I was given. You can tell her Grandma in California blesses her well with very classy boutique clothing. Gotta love it!

Are we at NKP STUDIO and GALLERY blessed with the most beautiful seniors in the country or what? Seriously. It is hard to believe half of these girls are seniors. We love working with them and helping them piece together their outfits. It adds to the whole process and is part of what we love…CHOICES! Cassie took these images of Taylor who is planning to use some of these for her modeling portfolio. She definitely has a unique look and style are her own and it shines through in the images of her. Love these! Good job, Cass!

This senior beauty has a soft spot in my heart. She dances at Miss Lore’s School of Dance and is an amazing dancer. My little girl Addy dances in competiton with her and she is one of the many amazing dancers that Addy looks up to. Danielle, sorry it took me so long to post some of you. Such is the life of a busy mother of three little ones, wife, and studio owner.

Meet Lil Miss Sophie. She is our beautiful little piece of perfection. Well, she was for the first few weeks. She slept all of the time and spunked up a bit here and there. Now she is mostly spunky with a little bit of sleep. We are getting attacked in the early hours around 2 and 5. She is on the prowl and our feet seem to be her favorite attraction. Nonetheless, she is awesome and we adore her. I am so glad we added her to our family. Isn’t she the cutest thing ever? Our 90 pound lab is adjusting fine and tolerates her well.

Many many more to come! I have thousands of images. I was in HEAVEN and now I am a bit SAD! I want to go back! I cannot wait to share them all with you.
